Mix one part Expedia, one part Facebook...

So, I am very taken with www.hostelworld.com.  This is an unbelievable site.  Try combining a travel booking site with a social networking site and there you have it.  It allows you to make friends and find out where others are traveling.  It allows you to view recent reviews (like, from yesterday) and see what the hostel is like in the same month as your travel.  I love it.  While I am careful with my settings and do not have any of my information public, I am going to do a little test and see who I can find in my destined locations when I arrive.  Consider this a social networking travel experiment.
